What's the best part of being a language trainer?
The fact that you meet awesome learners. Cool people, different characters, different personalities with various backgrounds and interests... the interaction that you have with your learners is the most amazing thing!
What languages do you speak?
Apart from Greek, which is my mother tongue, and German which is my working language, I also speak English and a bit of Italian.
What's your favorite word in German and why?
Mhhhh... that's a tough questiosn. I love the German language, mainly because of its richness and precision. One of my favorite words is "doch"... a complete argument in one word. It is a word used (among others) to contradict a negative statement and it is usually hard to explain as some languages lack such a word.
What are your top 3 tips to improve or practice a language you are learning?
- Read books and newspaper articles
Watch TV shows, films or the news
Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Interact in the target language. Talk! Talk! Talk!
What are 3 things that make you special?
Well... it's quite difficult to find only three! I am just kidding... My learners should be asked this questions but I can say...
I am enthusiastic
caring. Oh! and I love to learn!
